What is Still Beautiful?
We can turn in any direction and see the pain and suffering in ourselves and the world. And yet you found your way here. You followed the whispers of longing for something deeply buried, yet never truly forgotten. The longing that so quietly asks: what is still beautiful?
What is still beautiful in this world of hurt? How can we really be in touch with this life when our society demands anger, separation, and doubt? Even after years of growth work and therapy, it can be hard to find our way to a connected life of depth and meaning. This is compounded when our old, patterned stories of fear and shame keep us from truly touching the external world. Our inner critics and fears of intimate connection can keep us in a state of separation from our wild, open-hearted selves. When we live in a culture devoid of the mythic lens, of community support, ritual, movement, and compassion. It can be hard to peer past the fires of destruction, or use those fires in the alchemic stove. We aren’t taught how to find who we are on a soul level. And that’s really what I want to know. Who are you? Why are you here?
I work with meaning makers, spirit seekers, and those who wish to create lives that are oriented to the community— lives that are impactful, deep, and rich. This is soul-level work that we will design together to wake you up to the lucidity that is always available to us. It is my hope that we can co-discover or clarify what is being asked of you in this life– what it is that calls your name.
Sometimes the journey to soul level work begins with a focus on relational/childhood trauma, inner critics, self doubt, anxiety, grief, lack of direction and purpose, and relationship and sexuality difficulties. I would like to start with you wherever you are.
I’m queer identified, and have experience with various gender identities, sexual expressions, and relationship structures.
I hope to be a guide in helping you find your way back to what is still beautiful. To where you feel connected and inspired, to where you can trust yourself to balance molding and surrendering, inner and outer, connection and disconnection, expansion and contraction. Let’s tease out your personal myth and refine the chapters of your life through identifying where old limiting stories are keeping you stuck.
We may use parts work, re-parenting, attachment theory, nervous system regulation skills, somatic attunement, the enneagram, ritual, mindfulness and meditation, writing, art, nature, and integration of mystical/psychedelic experiences, to assist us in our journey.
